Questions clinics ask us

Does Koko AI make clinical decisions?

No. Koko AI reads the pet's records and summarises them. The vet examines the pet and makes every clinical call. The snapshot itself says: Koko AI can make mistakes, check important info.

Which records does the Koko AI snapshot read?

The pet's profile and weight history, summaries of past visits, lab reports from the last six months, and vaccinations with their due dates.

Is our clinic's data used to train AI models?

No. Records go to our AI providers through their business APIs only to produce the summary, and under their business terms that data isn't used for training. Our privacy policy sets this out in full.

Can we bring records over from our current software?

Yes. Moving pet parents, pets, visit history and vaccinations into Koko is part of onboarding.

We use another software. Can we switch?

Yes. We move your pet parents, pets and history from your old software, spreadsheet or register as part of onboarding, and most clinics are live within a week. How switching works.
